REGULAR SUNDAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE
OUR CURRICULUM...is an
interactive, multi-age, multi-sensory Sunday School learning
experience. In a rotational setting, the same Bible theme is taught
over several weeks. Each week, the students rotate to different
learning stations, such as art, science, storytelling, video, cooking,
games and music. This enables our kids to experience the Bible through
different modes of learning.
All children 3 years and
older begin in the
worship service at 11:00am for the opening hymns and the Children’s
Sermon. After the Children's Sermon, Sunday School pick up locations
are announced, and children are dismissed to their classes for duration
of service.
NURSERY (0 - 2yrs)
Nursery care is available every Sunday from
9:30am to 1:30pm for infants through 2 years old, whose parents are
involved in church related activities and/or attending the worship
service.
TINY TOTS (Tiny tots is open to children turning age 3 by December 2nd, through children who have not yet turned 5 by December 2nd.)
After the Children's Sermon, children in
the Tiny Tot age group have an intro time of singing, prayer, and offering in the Chapel with the K-6th graders, and are then dismissed to the KIDS' COVE located in the
back of GRANT HALL for the remainder of the worship service. They can
be picked up from there after service.
K - 6TH GRADE
After the Children's Sermon, the K-6th grade are dismissed to the CHAPEL for an intro time of singing, prayer and offering, and then an introduction lesson. From there,
children are dismissed to their age appropriate classes, where they experience an
interactive Sunday School learning experience. Pick up locations are
announced after the Children's Sermon.
7TH GRADE - HIGH SCHOOL
Our UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship)
has class in the KIDS' COTTAGE every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.
On the 1st Sunday of every month, they worship with the congregation in
the service, and partake in communion. On the 3rd Sunday of the month,
they serve the church in some way, ie. assist with Sunday School,
ushering, greeting, hospitality...
